Brentwood Baptist Christian Academy is a school operated by
Brentwood Baptist Church. It includes care for infants, kindergarten classes for 3, 4, and 5 year olds, and all elementary and secondary grades. Our goal is to assist families who are concerned for the future of their children by providing a Christian environment where children can learn, grow, and prepare for future education and a life that is pleasing to God.
Bible
At this school we believe and teach the Bible as God's inspired Word, showing the way of salvation and giving guidance for daily living. All students receive Bible lessons or chapel on a daily basis. The King James Version of the Bible is used in all school classes.
Academic Excellence
The school constantly strives for academic excellence. Curriculum includes A Beka and Bob Jones materials plus the Saxon math program. Secondary classes are of college preparatory nature, and we expect all of our graduates will go on to college.
Extended Care
Many people who work struggle to find care for their children before and after school. The Academy provides care for kindergarten and elementary children from 7:00 a.m. until 6:00 in the evening to help parents meet this need. Facilities are also available for secondary students who must be here before or after school hours.
Bulldog Summer Camp
Each summer many working parents enjoy knowing that their elementary and kindergarten children are involved in the Bulldog Summer Camp program at the Academy. Field trips, ball games, swimming and other fun gives them a great summer. The program operates all summer except for the Fourth of July holiday, and the last week of the summer.
Foreign Students
The Academy is glad to have a student body comprising of many different nationalities. The school is registered with, and approved by the Immigration and Naturalization Service to issue I-20 forms to students who wish to come to this country to study. Foreign students who receive an I-20 form must present it to the US Embassy in their country to obtain a student visa.
Financial Matters
The Academy endeavors to keep tuition charges low so that it is easier for students to attend. Discounts are given to families with more than one student enrolled. Payments may be made over a nine or ten month period based on the date of the first payment.
ACE SUMMER PROGRAM FOR SECONDARY STUDENTS
The ACE (Academic, Cultural, Expansion) Program operates two days each week over the summer and includes cultural field trips, development of reading, writing and discussions skills and other activities for secodary students. Cost is a minimal $25 per week. The program is limited to students who have a desire to learn as well as have a good time. This program should also prove a benefit toward preparing for college entrance tests. Conctact the Academy for a detailed brochure. There is only room for a small number of students in the program each summer.
